Bilingual education - what UP board results show us?

There is always been a case of dilemma for the parents whether to keep their children continue their studies in their mother tongue or should there be moved to English medium to said to have "better prospects".

However, listen this news first:
In the UP Board exam, for about 0.31 million (3.1 lakh) students could NOT clear their first language, Hindi, Examination in the matriculation exam this year. This clearance of the language paper is made compulsory for all the students and these 0.31 million students failed in their exams. UP is always considered to be an Indian state with maximum people use Hindi as official first language of education, in India. but what does it show?

None Known

This is going to be my first blog of my life. Though I started emulating or copying my elder brother's prime site in the same blog site http://sudhk7.wordpress.com, I could NOT sustain it. I thought of starting the blog with some of my favourite english grammatically right titles. To give you a heads-up, I am one of those kids who wants to Improve in everything starting from english, finance, technology updates, misc readings etc., After all, no one is perfect except a perfectionist. (Question: Is that a perfectionist is a person who is perfect in all sense or is the one who is TRYING to be perfect in what he do. If latter, I dont believe he is a perfectionist.)

Let us come back to the title story here. I completed my undergraduation (why dont we call it as pre-graduation?? otherwise, we should be calling the post-graduation as over-graduation, in that case, we are typically mentioning it MORE THAN what you require to study??) in a medium other than English(studied that we got freedom from British in 1947 and I followed that up till pre-graduation!!), in my mother tongue - Tamil ( Does that mean Father's tongue could be from different language??). Once in front of my cousin, my pride was rubbed off when his grand-father asked me to teach my cousin, how to pronounce "None". At the first sight, I really thought it is a noun pointing to some boy called "NONE". Hence I pronounced something like "KNOWN" and guess what.. I got a pinch in my cho-chweet chubby cheeks (4C's, huh??). That is how I learnt to pronounce "NONE"... does it remind you something similar in your past?? I bet...
